StoryCorps will help Dartmouth be a national model for higher education for reducing political polarization, promoting free expression, building community, and creating a meaningful student experience.

StoryCorps’ One Small Step aims to reduce animosity and dehumanization across political divides by forging new bonds of connection and trust, revealing we can overcome toxic polarization. We’re bringing strangers who disagree together, two at a time, to record a conversation about their lives—not politics—and in the process, rediscover their shared humanity.
